Hi Parents,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m excited to introduce this year’s fundraiser, powered by our partner, Schoolfundr!

What You Need to Do:

Please gather 20 email addresses from adults who would be willing to support your student and the team. These can be:

● Family members (aunts, uncles, grandparents)

● Friends, coworkers, religious leaders, etc.

● Donors don’t have to live nearby—we welcome support from anywhere!

Help your student save these emails on their phone notes app, tablet, google doc, just like a grocery list. On the due date, they will simply copy and paste these emails into our system during the team meeting.

Today, we’ll be creating our fundraiser pages! You should have worked with your parents

to gather 20 email addresses in advance. Please have those emails ready. Follow the steps

below to set up your page:

Step 1: Register

1. Go to:

○ https://app.schoolfundr.org/participant/cedarhsboysbasketball24/join

○ Or scan QR code (to right)

2. Sign up using a personal email address (do not use your school email) and create a

password.

3. Personalize your page by adding:

○ Your name

○ A photo

○ A short message

○ Your parent/guardian's email address

4. Click Continue.

Step 2 : Verify Phone Number

Step 3: Add Emails

● Enter all 20 email addresses. You can copy/paste them or type them in manually.

● Once all 20 emails are added, click Next.

● Personalize the name associated with each email (Note: You cannot edit this after

submission).

● Click Next again and you’re done!

Important Notes:

● You must add at least 20 emails to the platform.

● Do not load random emails. The Schoolfundr algorithm will flag suspicious activity if it

detects patterns like fake or repeated addresses.

That’s it! Once completed, your page will be ready to help raise funds for the team. Thank you
