Hello Parents and Guardians,

I am excited to introduce this year’s primary fundraiser. This is a team effort, it is essential for everyone to do their part by gathering 20 or more email addresses of their biggest fans. Every email counts! With this fundraiser, it will help us fund essential items and experiences that will enhance our program.

We have partnered with Schoolfundr for this important fundraiser. Their platform is safe, secure, and easy to use. The best part!?, we keep 100% of the donations (minus standard credit card fees), so every contribution goes entirely towards making this year amazing!

PARTICIPANT INSTRUCTIONS

1. Work with your Parent/Guardians to compile a list of 20+ email addresses of potential supporters of our program.

2. Save that list of emails in a note on your phone by November 18th.

3. We will be logging in and uploading them on November 18th

PARTICIPANT GOAL: At Least 20 email addresses

***DO NOT INCLUDE HS Friends, Teachers, Fake, or Random Emails

Today, we’ll be creating our fundraiser pages! Follow the steps below to set up your page:

Step 1: Create your page:                      

● Scan the QR Code or go to: https://app.schoolfundr.org/participant/cedar-park-boys-basketball/join

-Click *Sign in* if you have an account

-Enter your Personal email and make up a password if this is your first Schoolfundr campaign

● Follow the instructions to get your page created

-Enter your full name and choose a cover photo of YOU!

-Action Shots are a great option!

Step 2: Load up Emails:

● Upload your 20+ emails of friends and family or people that would support you

● Personalize the emails by entering their name

● Check below for ideas of who to ask for support

Step 3: Send Texts and Spread the Word:

● Copy the prewritten text message and fundraiser link provided

● Share your fundraiser link via text to at least 10 contacts (no group texts)

● Share your page to at least one social media platform

● Ask your family and friends to also share your page!

● Do not load random emails. The Schoolfundr algorithm will flag suspicious activity if it

detects patterns like fake or repeated addresses.

That’s it! Once completed, your page will be ready to help raise funds for the team. Thank you for your efforts!
